SONOSCAN ultrasonic probes are designed for use with SONOWALL (both 50 and 60) devices for precise wall thicknesses measurement of pipes with different sizes diameters.

The ergonomically-designed SONOSCAN wall thickness probes for non-destructive testing (NDT) have outstanding acoustic properties thanks to the highly flexible piezo-composite technology. To ensure that probes are always in line with the latest technological standards, its manufacturer Sonotec works closely with research institutions such as the ‘Forschungszentrum Ultraschall’ (FZ-U, German Ultrasound Research Centre).

Due to their variety of design and size, SONOSCAN probes by Sonotec are optimally suited for a multitude of applications. For example, the SONOSCAN SW 5-22 was specially developed for the SONOWALL 50, for the measurement of wall thicknesses of pipes with small diameters. The integrated guidance system guarantees the stable coupling at curved pipe surfaces.

The practical, ergonomic design of the wall thickness probes enables comfortable and convenient use. In addition to the standard products, we can also provide customer-specific solutions.
