An important advantage of an ultrasonic clamp-on flowmeter is that its sensors are clamped on the outside of the pipe. Therefor there is no contact with the medium inside, no pressure loss and the risk of leaks is minimized. Moreover, your ‘just in time’ production is not being endangered, because there are no downtime costs due to defects of inline flowmeters or for installing them.

Our ultrasonic clamp-on flowmeters have a very fast response time of 70 m / s and provide a fast reading of the flow. These speeds are ideal for pulsating flow rates or injection applications.

The installation and commissioning of an ultrasonic measuring system also take little time.

Our portable and stationary ultrasonic clamp-on flowmeters can be used at various locations in the plant, for various pipe materials, various pipe diameters from 10 mm to 6500 mm and for various fluids. This speeds up testing procedures and makes your R&D department more cost-efficient.

Additional features enable our instruments to be used for more than just flow metering. For example, by using the optional speed-of-sound measurement function you are able to detect fluid changes such as concentration and density. Ideal for multi-product pipelines (HPI), for recognizing different liquids.

When equipped with PT100 clamp-on temperature sensors, our flow meters are also capable of providing heat quantity measurements to determine thermal energy consumption e.g. on HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) systems.
